Oh, and this is coming from a “native” American.
If you want to be like that, no, there aren’t native Europeans, Asians, or Australians because we all stemmed from the same mitochondrial DNA, which is guessed to have been located in Africa. So, technically, we’re all native Africans.

They are saying that people migrated to America, even the original tribes that lived here came from somewhere. I think he might believe in the popular theory that humanity started in Africa.

But we don’t have anything else to call them/you as of now. “American Indian” sounds ridiculous.

For the people who are questioning this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In… “Native” Americans aren’t native: they used the Bering landbridge to cross into the Americas. And apparently you people can’t figure out Google

I get it. They’re saying many people are native to America. This is my native land. I was born in America. “Native Americans” means people who were born in America, so it is not a proper name for the original “Indians.”

So the American Indians that were here before everyone else came and actually established America—what are they? They’re known as Native Americans. They’re more native american than the white descendants of europeans!

Sorry that not everybody studies that sort of thing enough to know that. I think it’s really annoying when people assume everybody knows everything you know.
